Ingredients
- 3 slices bacon
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves – diced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 (15.25 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained and rinsed
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 1 1/2 cups biscuit mix
- 1 cup milk

If you want to make your own bread:
For the rolls (makes 6):
450g plain white flour, plus extra for dusting
1 tsp salt
½ tsp brown sugar
100ml milk, plus extra for glazing
200ml water
2 tsp dried yeast
2 rashers dry-cured smoked streaky bacon per person
1 rasher dry-cured smoked back bacon per person
Unsalted butter

What you’ll need:
4 slices bacon
½ cup hulled, toasted pumpkin seeds*
1/3 cup fresh lime juice
1/3 cup vegetable or olive oil
2 garlic cloves, peeled
1 jalapeno, halved (optional)
1 Tbsp honey
Salt, to taste
1 large head Boston lettuce, leaves separated
2 avocados, diced
2 mangoes, diced
¾ cup coarsely crumbled Mexican queso fresco, mild blue cheese, or goat cheese

- 6-8 small potatoes
- 8 strips bacon
- 4 onions, thinly sliced
- 2 sprigs thyme, leaves picked off
- Kosher salt and cracked black pepper
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 pounds calves liver divided into 4 even pieces
