Trader’s Joe’s is a fun place to shop and they produce some pretty darn good recipes. Here is one from their latest Culinary Compendium. And you can do all of your shopping for the recipe in one spot – Trader Joe’s

Bacon, Balsamic Onion & Baby Swiss Naan Pizza

1 package Frozen TJ’s Naan Bread

1 package TJ’s Balsamic Glazed Onions, cut into small pieces

2 cups TJ’s Baby Swiss Cheese, shredded

1 package TJ’s Fully Cooked Apple Smoked Bacon, diced into equal pieces

Preheat oven to 400ºF. Place the four naan breads on a baking sheet facing

up. Distribute the onions equally over each naan. Then sprinkle the Baby Swiss

Cheese over each piece evenly, followed by enough bacon to cover the onions and

cheese. Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.

Serves: 4

Enjoy

Trader Joes Bacon

Friday, June 24, 2011 Review by Brian

Recently bought a bunch of bacon at trader joes. This second pack was actually a trader joes brand. Cuts were thin with lots of fat, so ofcourse it cooked down a lot. Taste was ok – more smoky than I liked. Slices were ultra thin. 3.2/5
