Ran¬†across¬†this via Twitter. This is basically a caramel roll (or Monkey Bread)¬†with bacon, however since they did such a good job with this, let’s coin it! Piggy Bread!

One can of Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers Biscuits

One pound of crispy & slightly crumbled up Bacon!

4 tbsp. Melted Butter

1/2 Cup packed Brown Sugar

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

1/2 Cup Maple Syrup

Hazelnut-Chocolate Spread

1 cup hazelnuts

¬Ĺ pound milk chocolate, roughly chopped

¬ľ cup demerara or light brown sugar

¬Ĺ teaspoon kosher salt

¬ľ cup vegetable oil

French toast:

8 bacon strips

8 thick slices of sourdough bread (about 1 medium loaf)

2 large ripe bananas, peeled and sliced into thin pieces, divided

4 large eggs

¬ľ cup whole milk

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

Confectioners’ sugar, for dusting

Maple syrup (preferably Grade B), for serving

1 cup and 2 tablespoons cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/3 cup sugar

So we’ve seen lots of bacon-wrapped, however these really grabbed my attention – lime, saffron and bacon together! A must try!
